The British Ceramic Confederation represents the common and collective interests of all sectors of the UK ceramics industry. BCC exists to safeguard the industry’s prosperity, acting for the industry in discussions and negotiations with government and public authorities.

 

In parallel, a principal function of BCC is the provision of professional advice to its members, covering employment law, health and safety, energy, emissions, planning and waste management issues. In this role it promotes environmentally responsible and sustainable manufacturing. Most related advisory services, many of which generate significant cost savings for manufacturers, are free to BCC members.

 

BCC’s 125 member companies together comprise over 90% of the UK ceramic industry's manufacturing capacity. The wide range of products include:
