Energy Policy, Security and Costs
The British Ceramic Confederation campaigns for secure industrial energy supplies (gas and electricity) at internationally competitive prices – and a fair transition to a low carbon economy. All energy-intensive industries, such as ceramics, are vulnerable to massive unilateral increases in UK energy and carbon costs. As ceramic companies compete internationally we need a level playing field. We also work across the industry to help our members share good practice to identify, develop and implement economically viable energy efficiency measures and decarbonisation technologies.
This section contains our “Energy Policy, Security and Costs” issues (formerly “Gas availability and price alert”). For further information, please contact Laura Cohen.
