Product Definitions for Refractories
A Product Definition is essentially the manufacturer's own description of their product. Consultation between the British steel industry and the Refractories Association of Great Britain has lead to the development of a number of standard format layouts on which manufacturers can base their definitions.
The form of presentation of a Product Definition is described in detail within these documents, although interpretation and provision of data over and above that suggested is left to the manufacturer.
