WHAT WE DO
The British Ceramic Confederation (BCC) represents the collective interests of all sectors of the UK ceramic industry. We safeguard the industry’s prosperity, working together to tackle common issues, and acting on its behalf in discussions and negotiations with government and regulators.
Our sector experts provide wide-ranging professional advice to members, covering topics including Health & Safety, energy, emissions, planning, waste management, international trade, employment law and education and training. Our advice helps members to save money through tax relief/grants and take advantage of trade and innovation opportunities.
We host regular sector initiatives and member events, including the Health & Safety Pledge and Towards Net Zero, to share best practice and guidance, help members to comply with a range of regulations and access the latest advice and information.
BCC’s member companies together comprise over 90% of the UK ceramic industry’s manufacturing capacity, providing access to a wide industry network.
