The annual Clay Quarry Managers CPD Seminar will take place in person this year on Wednesday, 15 June in Stoke-on-Trent after COVID-19 forced us to change our plans for the past two years.
The seminar is aimed at clay quarry managers across the sector and provides an opportunity to network and discuss relevant topics.
Lauren Darby, BCC Safety, Health & Environment Director, said: “We are really pleased to announce that the seminar is back after two years of virtual webinars. It provides a great opportunity to bring everyone together at last with a mix of presentations and workshops.”
The seminar will feature guest speakers from MP Skills, Eversheds Sutherland, Chepstow Plant, GWP Consultants and Ecosurv.
Seminar topics, relevant to the management of clay quarries, include health and safety competence, water management, planning and permitting and quarry machinery safety.
The seminar will run from 9.15am to 3.15pm at the Double Tree by Hilton, in Festival Way.
