Members of the British Ceramic Confederation are being urged to save the date as the annual Pledge Conference and Awards will take place this year on Thursday, 12 October.
Last year, nearly 200 members attended the event to celebrate the industry’s dedication to improving health and safety.
The annual conference recognises the extensive work undertaken by the sector to drive health and safety improvement and provides an opportunity to share best practice and network.
Last year the awards recognised companies, individuals and contractors, with more than 100 entries split across four categories. The overall Pledge Award of Excellence 2022 went to Forterra Building Products (Group) in recognition of their impressive efforts in health and safety.
Lauren Darby, BCC Safety, Health & Environment Director, said: “Pledge has been running for more than 20 years and it provides members with a great opportunity to celebrate successes, learn from others and share best practice. We are delighted to have a date in the diary for 2023.
“We will be announcing further details and the award categories later this year and would urge members who have not entered before, to get in touch, learn more about Pledge, and get involved in this annual event.”
