Members of the British Ceramic Confederation are being urged to save the date as the annual Pledge Conference and Awards takes place this year on Thursday, 13 October.
The annual event recognises the extensive work undertaken by the sector to drive health and safety improvement. Pledge gives BCC members the opportunity to share best practice, with a move to Pledge Phase 5 also due this year.
Lauren Darby, BCC Safety, Health & Environment Director, said: “It is wonderful that we have a date in our diaries once again for this important celebration of health and safety best practice. It gives members a chance to share success, learn from each other and network.
“We will be announcing the award categories later this year and look forward to learning more about the excellent health and safety work being undertaken by our members. If you have not entered before, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.”
Last year, around 160 BCC members attended the event with 110 entries split across the three categories. Nineteen companies were recognised for their work, with the overall Pledge Award of Excellence 2021 presented to Naylor Drainage Division of Naylor Industries.
The conference and awards will once again be held at the Doubletree by Hilton, in Stoke-on-Trent.
