BCC campaigns for secure industrial energy supplies (gas and electricity) at internationally competitive prices – and a fair transition to a low carbon economy. All energy-intensive industries, such as ceramics, are vulnerable to massive unilateral increases in UK energy and carbon costs. As ceramic companies compete internationally, we need a level playing field. We also work across the industry to help our members share good practice to identify, develop and implement economically viable energy efficiency measures and decarbonisation technologies.
